I really didn’t know what to write for this prompt. The only thing that is on my mind is my 16 year old sister.
Jordyn was involved in a car accident this weekend on her way to homecoming. In Cleveland, it was raining fairly hard and her Toyota Camry hydroplaned, the brakes locked, and her car hit the Range Rover in front of her. The Camry spun out of control and drove up a pole. All the airbags deployed and the car was totaled. Jordyn was then rushed to the emergency room. She was in and out of consciousness, in a neck brace, badly bruised, and had a broken shoulder. Jordyn had to stay overnight in the Trauma Center at the local hospital.
To make matters worse, the person she hit was her supposed friends, Brianna and Amber. Upon calling them Friday night, they told me they didn’t care about her situation, and that it was all her fault so leave them alone; they were too busy dancing at homecoming. I was infuriated by their selfish attitudes, and the lack of care the demonstrated toward their “friend”. My sister is my best fried and she is an amazing person. I am extremely grateful that she is still here, despite her pain. I love her dearly.
