I personally enjoyed the reading. I though the subject matter was interesting and kept me captivated in the storyline. Virginia referred to a very horrendous time in history when Hitler was in rule of Germany and described the terror many felt during the air attacks. She used good imagery which added to how interesting the story was. I especially like the fact that she was standing up for women. Many people said that men were the only important ones because in that society, that is who made the decisions. Virginia differs stating that women are the backbone behind it, and use their minds and mental capacity to help and care. I thought this passage was very insightful as well as interesting to read.
