Although I am not really sure how to come up with a “research question” I still did the worksheet on “Qualifying Your Public Discourse Topic”. The topic for my paper is human trafficking, mainly dealing with selling children as slaves for sex and for forced labor. I was able to answer yes to all of the questions except number two: Does this issue potentially inspire two or more views. For this question I put a question mark. I am sure that there are two or more views on this topic but it is illegal, and I would think a strong majority, except the people involved, would be against this. For this reason I don’t know if I will find material that combats this reality.
